I wanted to get a few construction pics. Here is one of the scaffolding around a new complex. It is pine scaffolding and I am not sure I would use it…

Try finding the funny things in this pic. This is in front of the Spice Village that I had posted about a few weeks ago. Notice the marketing company “B.S. Marketing” which is an interesting name.

Bad Traffic

So this looks like a bit of traffic ahead…

But it ended up just being cattle in the road…

… pic your caption for this flick. I guess the summary is that the irrigation here is not where it needs to be. This was my ride home last night.

Here is a quick shot of the streets of the old city here.

Moto With 4

I tried to get this shot with four people on a moto for my brother. I did a bad job. You can see it kinda. There are two hats up front, the driver and the woman in the back… I will get a better picture soon. Problem is getting a side shot. I always see it, but don’t have the camera ready.

Spice Village

I went to a good South Indian restuarant today. It was the first time I ate with my hands. It was really good. I had fish, bird, chicken, spinach and a few other foods. It was hard to peel the meets from the bone without using my hands. When you get one eating they bring a bowl of hot water with lemon for cleaning your hands. It was very good stuff, just a bit “Spicy.” Check out the link here Spice Village.

I finally got a few pics of the traffic laws here in India. The first I didn’t get a picture of though, and that is the helmet law. There is a 100 rupee charge for not wearing a helmet (a little over 2 bucks).

Second is seen below. Running a red light will cost you 200 rupees (a little over 4 bones).

And last but not least. If you get caught driving drunk here, you will be given a 500 rupee fine (thats right over $10 US).

I have had one fender bender and have seen a few others. Things are a bit different here…
